The story of each piece begins right here on Cape Cod. These authentic scallop shells are brought ashore by local Cape Cod boats and harvested by Nick Nickerson. In his North Chatham barn, Nick carefully hones each shell and drills it by hand for hanging before it becomes a canvas for Jodi’s artwork.

Jodi then individually hand-paints each natural scallop shell, transforming a piece of Cape Cod’s working waterfront into a one-of-a-kind piece of floral coastal art.
