The story of each piece begins right here on Cape Cod. These authentic scallop shells are brought ashore by local Cape Cod boats and harvested by Nick Nickerson. In his North Chatham barn, Nick carefully hones each shell and drills it by hand for hanging before passing it along to Jodi.

Jodi then transforms the natural shell into a miniature canvas, individually hand-painting each one with artwork inspired by the beauty and character of Cape Cod.
